V|V teak collections feature a protective finish designed to enhance durability and reduce surface oil migration. However, due to teak’s natural properties, occasional oil or tannin release may still occur, particularly in humid or rainy conditions.
This surface behavior is not a defect, but a hallmark of authentic, oil-rich teak—even when finished. V|V assumes no liability for cushion staining or discoloration resulting from natural oil migration. We recommend following our care guidelines to preserve presentation quality and product integrity.

Fixed Back Cushions
Outdoor furniture sets featuring fixed back cushions are designed with non-removable, sewn-in fill that may naturally settle, shift, or compress over time. These subtle changes in shape or loft are normal characteristics of the design and do not indicate a defect in materials or workmanship.
Due to the nature of fixed-back construction—where fill is not compartmentalized or adjustable—minor asymmetry, softening, or visual variation may occur. This is considered an expected part of the product’s aging and does not affect structural integrity or comfort.
As such, sinking, shifting, or uneven fill distribution in fixed back cushions is expressly excluded from warranty coverage.
